Wuddup ill muzik fam I'm a beginner in using samples for my beats. I usually make them from scratch using FL and a bunch of VST's but decided to "expand my horizons" in my beat making I figured why not jump on the sampling band wagon I like the sound and style of flippin samples. Only issue is I'm not sure if your supposed to srt8 up chop the samples and use the raw loops or beat map the sample then chop it up to use the loops. I usally try and beat map the samples through ACID chop them in the chopper and export them as WAV's to use in reason only issue is they always fall off for some reason I cant seem to figure out the issue some samples I use work some fall off, some advice and help would be greatly appreciated.... also who's the better "SAMPLER" type software to use FL or Reason? Thanx

the first thing im itchin to say is that you're NOT supposed to do anything. it's up to you whether you flip it or loop it. i do both and i like both they sound great for each sample i choose.

the better sampler. i cant answer this one but i can recommend sonar wich is what i use, a lot of VST ( Kontakt and Intakt for sampling ) and a keyboard controller.
