save your sarcasm and not your patience.

id stay away from behringer. they are poor quality. i have the krk rp8s. make sure you get active monitors if you have enough dosh. spend as much as you can.

WELL IF YOU LOOKING FOR THAT OFFICAL SPEAKERS YOURE GONNA SPEND SOME SERIOUS MONEY.

and if you pockets are right you could look at:

tannoy monitors (there all good)
genelec monitors (there all great)
mackie hr824
yamaha ns-10
event precision 8

krk's are cool and arent that expensive (you could look at some V8 or V4 also)

THE SAMSON MONITORS ARE GOOD BUT THEY DONT GIVE YOU ANY BOTTOM THE HIGHS ARE CRYSTAL CLEAR THOUGH

IF YOURE LOOKING FOR MONITORS FOR REFERENCING PURPOSES GET ACTIVE (POWERED) MONITORS. BUT IF YOURE LOOKING FOR SOME SPEAKERS TO PUMP YOU MUSIC GET PASSIVE (NON-POWERED) SPEAKERS.

if you need to know anything else ask.

How much money do you want to spend on monitors? I'm saving up for the Mackie HR824s right now...This topic is too big to be discussed so freely, cut down some guidelines or something, like price range, whatever...

oke, roomsize, wall surface, speaker placement and then go for Genelec...

Stay away from Behringer and Tannoy reveal...they're crap....

At least spend as much as possible, it pays off, cheap shit wont, they'l make you suffer and deceive you( they will too if your room isnt adequatly build so what are we talking about, buy a set of JBL EON 15 G2 and kill the neighbours ).
