Anybody using that on there MPC? I have a PK-6 and I want to save the instruments used on that inside the MPC 2k. So how do i get that to work like that. Betta yet if anybody does use it can u give a quick synopsis on it.

Its SysEx.

I don't think the MPC can transmit or recognize it. The only SysEx data that I can remember is sample dump. I might be wrong.. you're going to have to check the MIDI Charts at the back of the manual. Again, I might be wrong.. maybe someone else can fill in the gaps.

Ok read that and I found out that the 2k does not transmit or receive sysex data. So what are my other options? How can I save the sounds I use on da PK-6 so when I load up the MIDI sequence saved on da 2k it will play the sounds that I used from da PK-6? Somebody help me out please.

There is plenty of DAW software that can sequence when there is SysEx involved.. Not sure what hardware will follow it. Good luck..

Got it working now. Thanks for the help. Someone from MPC helped me out. They told me how to save inside da PK-6. Cause shit I couldnt figure it out for nothing. But I still thank u.
