If you're using recyle along with reason you don't have to homie! Get your chopin' right and have it looping on point and you're good. No matter what the tempo your sample will ride with the track if u put it in to reasons with Dr X or NNXT. The keys on your keyboard determine the pitch and tempo with the NNXT. Reason makes things simple like that...that's why it's the hottest producing software out in my opinion!!! Be easy!

Try it....u might like it!

Play around with it and see what you get! I do it from time to time. I will say this....when you sample live instruments or songs that were played live (not sequenced) it helps to adjust the tempo since of course they didn't use a sync clock or computer based metronome. I think Kanye adjusts the tempo alot for his trax. I just don't think you have to use it...especially with reasons.
