Turntable Help Plz

i jus bought 50 records and now i'm looking for a turntable so i can record the vinly to my computer what all do i need to get to do this can't i jus buy any turntable and get a usb plug or sumthing and run it threw the computer

You can use any turntable, just make sure you plug it into a mixer (multitrack mixer, or just a regular DJ mixer), then run that mixer into your computer's soundcard. What kind of soundcard do you have?

What you will need is a cable that has RCA at one end, and 1/8" at the other end (that goes into your soundcard).

idk if my computer has a soundcard cuz a while ago i was looking 2 buy one but i went 2 tha gutaircenter and it was a turntable for 100 and this dude said i should get tha one for 150 but they was both made by tha same ppl and i told him wut i wanted 2 do he said i need a amp and sum other stuff witched added up to 300 and i thought i could jus buy a usb plug and jus record so how much u think its gonna cost including tha mixer and y do i need a mixer and i got software it mixers in it will that work

You need a mixer because plugging your turntable directly into your soundcard could blow it, you don't want that.

I don't know what you're looking to spend, but if you want something cheap, try some pawn shops, any basic stuff will do.

Just hook it up to the line in jack in the computer. Go buy a Y cable with an RCA plug and a headphone jack on both ends and just hook it up to the comp. Then go to ur volume control/ options / record ... press ok and make sure Line In is checked in order to be able to record. That's what I do but other people might have it differently
