using MPC 2000 to trigger redum

I've look in the archives to find the anwser to this question, have reason 3.0 and a mpc 2000 that i got for cheap, would like to use the mpc to trigger redrum, is this possible and if so how do ya do it?

Yep MIDI OUT of MPC to MIDI IN on computer and MIDI OUT on your computer to to the MIDI IN on your MPC. BKA as the Handshake hook up.

Oh yeah by the way why u using it as a midi controller? I mean it can be done for that but jus curious. If u want a MPD or trigger finger i can get u one of those and i'll buy your MPC from u. Let me know.
