No, you can't start a new thread in the Showcase - why would you want to anyway?

What Fade is tryin to say is that he opens a thread which is open for 3 days for people to post their beats and, very important, give feedback. After the 3 days have gone he'll close the thread and there will be a 2 day break before he again opens a thread for 3 days
