i loved their second album souther underground, and im thinking of picking up the first one

Well...sorry to dissapoint but this CD is very average to me. It seems like DJ Kno relied more on a lot of catchy modern classical/hispanic samples rather than show his real skills. There are moments where he would bust out some nasty beat but overall it's a very light album with fun and fast almost electronic melodies...you'll probably like it...but it doesn't have much replay value for me.

its solid.....not my kind of hip hop, but it does the job well......nice beats, good head bopping vibe, littered with more concious shit....nothing groundbreaking, but on a par with the second album really....you should appreciate it if you liked the first one
