writer's block

im pretty sure there's quite a few mc's on the board does anyone care to give a fellow thoroughbread some advice? here's my issue i been spitting for a little bit over 8 years and shit but for like the past 2 years or some rhymes have been few and far between i havent been able to write a regular rhyme for like a year or more and i havent been to write a song in quite a few months i mean i havent been able to write a fucking thing my only thoughts is that i past my prime and rap is leaving my system ive never been one to smoke weed like most niggaz do so i guess im at a loss any suggestions on what to do about writers block

sounds like ya got no strive man. what i do is listen to some wack ass cats for a minute(some cats on soundclick, or MTV) and that usually gets me amp. I dunno, I also listen to constant instrumentals and just freestyle the whole time.

yeah i feel like i aint got no strive either i be like what the fuck am i writing for and niggaz in the game now is too wack to gain inspiration from i usually thrive off nice niggaz but now it seem like theres none around (no diss to any ill muzik heads) atleast that meet my intrest but i defenitely be got no drive but at the same time that shit upsets the hell out me cuz i be fucked when i do attempt to write nigga feel like hes learning to ties his shoes over
