    This is the 4th of 4 tracks I'm making that all use the same core instruments. I used master compression on all the other tracks but NOT this one, but based on what you've said, I think I just overthought it. Will work that into the final version and play around in the other areas you mentioned...

    TBH I think what happened is you and @V.J. Retro stepped on each other's votes. Both very solid beats with a similar energy and powerful bass. I'd bet if only one of you entered, that beat would have ended up top 5.
