Trolling YouTube producers who take themselves too seriously as a grassroots marketing strategy

there was a dude who commented on one of my vids where I said "how the fuck do you influencers record yourself and screen" and he gave me the name of screen record software... I think I'm losing faith in society. Or perhaps I have a chance at acting if beatmaking doesn't work.

Making shorts now too because YT wants them because it's fucking social media:

yeah what sucks is that now it's been democratized so much that it's probably harder to make a career out of it. seems there's a lot less small/mid size options, and less support roles as tech advances, and I wonder if that could impact quality for a while too (if there's less incentive will...

Yeah and that makes everyone competition. As I see this play out more, I do actually like that it CAN democratize things since everyone has access to everything now along with all the tools they'd ever need right on their computer. However, that also means there's just so much more content, so...

Admittedly my peer group (30some Millennials) probably drove the decline of music biz since I remember selling burned CDs of songs I'd download from Napster and my first "music collection" was me organizing 1000s of mp3s I downloaded. Looking back I think I only ever bought a few CDs... Marshall...

Eventually, yes. I honestly don't see how it can change near term unfortunately. We're probably stuck with the current landscape until there's the next round of "big tech"

yeah I don't really get it, after 9 months or so of actively posting. tags don't really seem to do anything. Thumbnails seem to be important. volume seems to be important. but it also seems to be pretty random idk

I'm mostly testing the algos to understand how engagement with an "influencer" impacts your views (or doesn't). a way that helped me grow on another platform (not music related) was getting return engagement from big folks so I'm testing that with YT starting with silly shit like this.

Jadakiss Meets Blade: Dark Nights Remix

I love Jada and Blade so it was dope to see it together haha. I thought the Sylvester intro was a bit corny and felt out of place tbh though. Like the melody a lot! Simple and catchy. Drum pattern is dope, I thought it sounded a little too quantized at times but I also have a bias for swing...
