    From my P.O.V. if you're not in it for the money you probably will never be in "the industry" Because money is what makes the "industry" what it is. If your only motivation is to make music because you enjoy 10 years from now you will probably be making music just for your enjoyment. Anyways...

    public domain music is ok to replay but not sample. say you buy the freeky deeky classical cd just cause the original songs copyright is up the people that put out the cd or record have a copyright on there playing of the arrangement. Peace

    What alot producers do once they got deals and money is they just sample then put the shit out. Then once its out there they pay the money.Plus that way once lets say prince's people contact you.They cant say no, they just ask for money and lawyers make a deal based off sales not what the artist...
