    Services for sharing your beats

I do have my own web server but I constantly get complaints from people that my tracks take too long to stream or d/l. Can anyone confirm this? Here's a test link: http://d7048.u23.greymatterhosting.com/DDG/snap27_64bar_8690bpm.mp3

    Services for sharing your beats

Cool, thanks for the help guys! I do have my own web host but when I host mp3's people complain that the server is too slow. When I'm posting beats in a showcase I always get a couple people saying that can't listen to them. My host is a friend, and he has his servers at a secure data center...

    Services for sharing your beats

I'd like to hear peoples suggestions for the best services to use for sharing beats. I've seen some people use myspace, but I heard that they gain some rights over your tunes that way, can anyone clarify? Also people complain about the sound quality. I've seen people using file sharing services...

what bpm's do you use? popular songs bpms?

Depends on the lyricist too, I've done quite a few things up around 110 but a lot of folks don't know how to chop it up at that tempo. It sounds great when they get it right though, but it takes a different approach.

    How do you sample?

Thanks for your suggestions. My main problem is that I don't have recycle. I was hoping there was a quick way to convert regions to audio files in logic and transfer them to the ESX24. I don't use reason so I can't help you there. I know in Logic's ESX24 there is a menu command to load...

    Any EXS24 Sampler users here??

I just posted something similar in another logic thread, but I'm wondering if there's a streamlined way for chopping a sample and exporting it to the ESX24? In logic I can take a single audio file/sample, and make multiple regions out of it but I can't find out where to convert these regions...

    How do you sample?

I'm curious to hear peoples methods too. One of the most obvious is to chop the sample and load the chops into the ESX24. Unfortunately logics audio editing facilities don't seem partial to this process. I can create multiple regions out of a single audio file/sample, but can't find the command...
