    heres the deal, i just trimmed and resampled a ride cymbal from the floppy disk that comes with the mpc. i renamed the file and all that then hit the main page button. next i think i rotated the data wheel and hit a pad at the same time. i dont know if this would cause an error but a message...

    i just got an mpc and i'm not sure what to do with a sound once i've sampled it. for example: i sampled a one note horn intro off an old 45 i got. should i set it to the 16 levels and play the different notes from that or chop it and play the same note. or when you talk about pulling sounds off...
