And also, people need to "learn" this shit by themselves a bit too. I think it's part of the learning curve. To be 100% honest, I haven't put much attention yet on mixing/mastering cause I am still learning a lot on the beat itself and theory behind it. So let me do my own discovery myself for...
Well I won't be able to give any better feedback that you already received but let me tell you that we all been there once and the fact that you are willing to hear the sad hard truth to be better it the best thing you can do ! Keep going mate !
Not bad ! But it's a bit too repetitive and too jampack to my liking. The first strings(I think it's strings? The 2 notes that goes back and forth) are too loud and again, way too repetitive. Keep going !
At first I wasn't sure but I freaking like it. Only thing a bit out off place might be the kicks. It would need to be a bit more, trash maybe ? Or I don't know how to say it clearly but more Horror-type. The heartbeat feeling is there and it's a very nice effect. Would be perfect for the next...
Beat sounds super good except the Hi hats. To my taste they don't fit sound-wise and tempo-wise. Since it's a slow-paced beat I would have put em more regular and slow. Like not too much. But again, except from the hi hats. Pretty dope !
I agree with what you said @2GooD Productions even tho I wasn't here for long (couple of months back in October and just got back (long story)) but did realize that only a handful are really committed into what we would describe a ''community''. Lots of feedback-requested-but-non-given. I tried...
@2GooD Productions this beat was an absolute banger ! Congrats. @Armani yours was also god damn fresh ! A really hard choice for the finals. Good job guys.
Thanks for your time man, I appreciated it.
Just wondering what you're meaning by ''the greats'' ? Still fairly new and also maybe a bit of language barrier here :D
Well I wish I could say it's better but... It's not.
Don't mean to be rude but maybe move on to another beat and just try something very basic like drums and one melody(one instrument) and try to master this then add something up next.
I still learn maybe 1 or 2 things at every beats I make. I try different things as well in each of them too which makes them pretty much all unique. That alone for now is enough to keep me going and I actually love the sounds I make no matter what others may think.
