    FL Studio 6 vs. Abelton Live 5

    i've been using live for a couple months now and i gotta say i think it's a better way to go over FL6. thats assuming you got a midi controller of some kind. Its better also cause it will allow you really try and mix the things that you do on it. frankly the potential i see in it is alot larger...

    Spectrasonics Stylus RMX vs. Battery 2(or any other drum sampler)

    At the moment i'm using battery 2, and it works really well with trigger finger. its pretty decent for messin with the the drums ounds within the program. You may also want to look at fxpansion's guru. I've been reading good things about to it, and it may be up up your street.

    yeah, i agree with those rules. I also make an attempt to not use standard samples (i.e not between the sheet -isley brothers). Saying that i will use a tune that another producer has used but i won't use the same parts (not obviously anyways). Also now i'm avoiding the speeding up soul vocal...

    Quick poll: What software do you use?

    I use Ableton live 5, sound forge, battery 2 and then random other things like absynth, but that is rarely used. I want to learn to use reason properly but haven't had the time yet.
