Question about processing a sample

If u are editing in Soundforge or something similiar, u can seperate the left/right chanels and maybe the sounds u r looking for are left/right. That may help. Also if u have a vocal remover plugin, it may help to bring those sounds out and surpress the shit u don't want.

Question for you digging dewds...

HEY here's a tip I've been there with records... I can usually tell (with the exception of Jazz because u never know) if a record has what i'm looking for within the first 30 seconds of listening. I usually look at the bands of the records because the lighter or darker the grooves in...

No doubt about that shit and that's a very valid point. However, politics play a broader part in this shit. Look at the math. This is his big comeback album, you can't take a chance if you are Hov relying on an unknown producer to be on his album, hot or not. the name recognition of producers...

I don't know really, but I don't think u would have a problem because it's kind of like a cover song. as long as u credit the original sample, u should be straight but I would find out for sure

I would like to hear some opinions on Jay Z's new album. Personally, I think it's just Aight. Hov is still captivating but the awe factor is not as strong on this one, I thought some of the production left a little to be desired also. Just want to see if u guys felt it or not....
