    Indie Label

    If you have recording equipment, starting a label isn't hard at all. It just takes alot of time and dedication. First you have to find artists, next record a few tracks and put them into CD or record form. Then you can either take them and sell them out of the trunk to get "start up" money...

    Getting clientiel

    What do you think is the best way to promote yourself as being a producer? Do you do a few tracks for friends then let word of mouth bring artists to you? Do you go to clubs and shows with business cards and scout for talent? Are do you just call/go to indie labels and shop for work?

    There's alot out there but I gotta give a nod to: Swizz Beats - Ruff Ryders Anthem Timbaland - Are You That Somebody Whoever did the "I Got Five On It" track by The Luniz And that "Hard Knock Life" track was a banger too.
