    whatup? yea its usually a problem. my suggestions would be to cut out low end, and tighten it up a bit, cut the decay. then maybe layer it with some clean hihat. and a just came to idea. when ur recording ur break, then record it like so that ur kicks and snares are all the way up in red...

    ayo, tryin to slow it down too much, i doubt it gonna sound nice afterwards, but i suggest u to try samplitude 7 - smooth streching, for some samples its way better that acid or something else =)

    yea cubase with vst's takes alotta more computer resources than reason...but yea, like sayed before, check latency/buffer settings.

    mh, what u wanna do? get the bass from oxygen 8 to acid? or u have some vst, which bass u wanna hear? if the bass sound u wanna hear is coming from some vst, then when u hit the record button change 'midi thru' to that vst.

    audition fading samples

    mh, i dunno about that, but i can give u this one tip what makes easyer to fade out all samples separatly...fade out ur first sample as u always do it, then on the next sample's, what u wanna fade out, just select the part that u wanna fade out and press F3. sorry about my bad english :)
