    any one with MPC knowlege

I think I speak for everyone with this one.. Who are you to call us ignit when you can't even open up a manual and read? I don't mean to be an ass, but things aren't always given to you sugar coated. If you have a specific question where the answer is not in the manual, or it's in fact a...

Systex(think thats how u spell it)

There is plenty of DAW software that can sequence when there is SysEx involved.. Not sure what hardware will follow it. Good luck..

Systex(think thats how u spell it)

Its SysEx. I don't think the MPC can transmit or recognize it. The only SysEx data that I can remember is sample dump. I might be wrong.. you're going to have to check the MIDI Charts at the back of the manual. Again, I might be wrong.. maybe someone else can fill in the gaps.

Do I really need a mixer???

Hypothetically, you wouldn't need a mixer since all your effects and mixing is being done on computer. All you need is an audio interface that can handle the "MPC, Triton, and other stuff." The audio interface can also be used to apply external effect rack mounts as well.

figure out BPM in seconds. New DOPE program!! FREE!!!

I don't think people are going to complain about finding BPMs as cheating the art.. That is unless you can pick exact BPMs by listening to tracks or even if you use math to solve your BPM woes. Really... its not that big of a deal.

    Question For Mac/prottols User

Sure it will work... you just can't upgrade the thing.. I wouldn't recommend it as an audio machine at all. The Mac Mini was made just to be an affordable option for people that wanted to OSX.. not run full fledged audio software... but hey.. do what you like.. :P

    Question For Mac/prottols User

With such a low budget, I would probably end up going with a PC. Pro Tools LE runs more on CPU power. A G4 500MHz isn't going to cut it unless you are using a Pro Tools HD / MIX system where the cards do most of the work.

    Reason without disc

You must load and install ALL CDs initially.. it'll ask you to run the program a few times and after a few program runs it should not ask for the CDs anymore. If you change any of your computer setup, I believe it'll ask you to load the CDs again when you start it up. I could be wrong on...
