    ^ what do u mean by that? i'm pretty new to production (few months), im guessing that you're meaning slowing the melody down to match the drums? but could u elaborate please, i'm keen to soak knowledge !

    I've found it very hard or impossible in fact to do a melody first and then put the drum on top of it. For example i've sampled a few nice melodies of a couple of songs, and when i tried to put the drums on top of it it came out wizzzy wack, so i just usually start with the drums.
