Django Unchained - The Kids a Natural!

this is dope as hell, love the synth bass and the choral stabs. Sounds real nice in my headphones. On the part where the synth bass drops out I think another bassline would suit it really well, before the original bass drops back in after "Sons of bitches"

    * Pop Smoke - Dior * (Remix by Memento Beats)

Love the hi hats, the mix sounds nice and bassy how I like it. The kids will love this beat.

    4 Owls

Me too. I find it ironic that somebody called h1ph0pk1ng can't appreciate that whatever hip hop is today is because and only because of boom bap. Trap, drill or whatever you regard to be "Hip Hop" would not exist without boom bap. Just saying. Boom bap paved the way for young know it alls to...

    InMusic buying out Moog

Every time we see this sort of thing, like with radio, news media, entertainment and games the fewer hands that control things, the less diverse, the more cookie cutter and mundane with a side order of politics being rammed down your throat things become. The more they take their customers for...

    What gear is everybody rocking?

recently upgraded to 12 myself, mainly because of the new Midi controller set up being so damn amazing. My Cubase 11 still requires an iLok but 12 doesnt.

Beastie Boys - Paul Revere Remix

this is dope, love that bass, proper throwback beat. Some strategic drum fills at the end of each 8 bars would sound really dope. Id throw an R-Vox on that snare too, just to make it a bit louder and snappy.

    * Rick Ross ft. Nas - One of Us * (Remix by Memento Beats)

Fucking dope beat, love the drums. Really like all the little changes as it goes along keeps it interesting all the way through. I think its the type of beat that would suit a group of artists, or just Nas.

Any Feedback Appreciated (It's short on purpose, please ignore the length)

    Unexpected Consequences

This beat really has a neo soul vibe to it that would suit a soul singer I think. I really like the reversed sample. The beat changes throughout and keeps things interesting, nice work.

    * 50 Cent - Straight To The Bank * (Remix by Memento Beats)

I think I like your boom bap more than your trap tbh. I think you captured the vibe of the era. Love the brass stabs on the hook. The stereo play between the brass and the strings is really nice. My only critique is I think the kick is a bit muddy.

John ‘They should of left the damn dog alone’ Wick

I dont think the choice of sounds matches the vibe of the John Wick samples. The sounds all sound happy, its like playing "The Sun Has Got Its Hat On" while decorating the room with the brains of people trying to kill you. While this can be quite a disturbing scenario, I dont think it works here...

Iron Keys - Green With Envy
