isolating vocal samples
hey guys. yeah, so basically i'm messing around with alot of vocal samples lately, and the drums always seem to get in the way of the vocals, and i'm unsure how to either turn down the bassline/drums or bring out the vocals somehow. i'm using nnxt. thanks. -

What's the process like? I'm recieving my turntable very soon, and I'm hoping to store some of the more rare ones on my computer for future use (sampling, maybe even serato live?). thanks in advance. -

MPC Necessary?
My original plan was purchasing an MPC with FL Studio, but I got Reason which is a stand alone program itself. Is an MPC necessary or would and MPD TECHNICALLY do the same job? I'm trying to see the advantage/disadvantage of purchasing one, considering I'm more short on money now. Thanks. -
Portamento on the Keys
