    this is a turntable table I built from old wood laying around the house. it is not pretty but it is functional. the turntable on top with my mixer and sampler on the right height and some records beneath it.

    I've got the sennheiser hd 270. it is not the top notch for music production but my cashflow isn't either so..... but I can mix and master pretty well with it. the only problem is that you tend to put to much bass in the track(because of the headphone) , but once you know it it is no problem...

    I never used wavelab for burning. what I did was cut my mixtapes up into tracks and burn them with nero. if you leave the 2 sec. pause out you can skip from track to track but still listen the whole mix. ( I think that is what you are trying to do.)
