    For Berklee's school of music.... wouldn't it be better to take courses ON CAMPUS instead of online? I think having the experience in person and on campus is much better than online.

    Try this.. just quantize only the snare.... as for the rest... don't quantize anything and just play it out. That's what I usually do.... I hardly quantize anything besides the snares and sometimes the kicks. It also depends on what type of track it is too.

    It varies on how long the process is.... for me if i do suttin from scratch to finish, it usually takes me about 1/2 hour to compose, arrange and put everything together. But it doesn't matter how long or how fast u make the beat, as long as it's hott when it's finished

    Most of the time I just start off with the drums cuz to me that's the most important element. But, everybody does it differently. That's just the way I do it. Sometimes, my beats doesn't even have a melody. Sometimes using just 1 or 2 notes will make it hott already.

    Yep if you're going to school for audio engineering it aint hard getting in. But if you're gonna go to a major school like harvard or suttin then that's different.
