Smooth AF! Nice arrangement and great job on the guitar. Maybe the other instruments sound a little too digital to go with it (like the arpeggiator and the bass sine at the end) but thats a matter of taste I guess... Great stuff! -

In FL Studio you have "envelope" settings to adjust your kick (or whatever sample): These settings are also great for "humanizing" drums or ghost notes that require a soft touch.... -

When it comes to combining samples, I feel like the key isn't nessecarily the problem (because you can adjust it). But more chords they used (major, minor) or a bassline or scale that doesn't fit. With filter work you can kind of work around this 'issue'. But like you said, when combining... -
