Cool, I did that before I learned how to really tear a beat apart but now I kinda view it as BS! There's nothing (but the drums...) that say that I did anything with it so, I (personally) wouldn't even feel right calling it "my flip" or "my beat". But thanks anyway, that helped.- dacalion

I got a question for you guys...Please read it carefully...If I found a dope ass jewel and made 8 - 16 bar chops, I mean HUGE chops (taking very little, if any, from the original sample) and then put a drum beat behind it. Would you respect that as one of MY flips? Just curious?- dacalion

I'm not sure what song you guys are talking about but if it was mine, the intro starts out with George Lopez...you know the comedian? as in a very funny guy doing stand up? If I were shooting for a battle intro, it would have been scarface all the way through and much harder.- dacalion

Yeah I agree with Formant as well, I wouldn't call it a conservative pov, I would call it a bit extreme pov. I remember listening to Em's joint thinking 'damn, dude really hates this chick' but I never got any ideas to tie a cement block to my wife and take my kid to help me dump her in a lake...- dacalion

NOT! Why don't you 'composers' up your sample game! Shit, that would kill us Sample heads! j/k =) I've been working on my composing game, not a bad idea, remixing and full songs wouldn't be that bad to handle.
