Hmmm, Im pretty sure the reason your turntable only plays by itself is because it's using a different driver but I cant figure out why nothing would be in your mix section. Let me think on this...i'll get back to you. -

Yeah that NuMark is probably a step up from the ION... just let me know and i'll put together a tut on doing it in FL. The RS's here have the ION's on the shelves. -

That will do the job but I would still go with the ION, it's better quality...and you dont need Audacity to convert. You can do that using your FL. -

I haven't done this in a while but yeah, I used to go to Movies Clips a lot looking for good material to put in a beat, it's a really good way of setting the theme of the beat. Here's one that I used in the 2010 Battle That! Somebody Got To Die -

Radio Shack sells ION's, do some research on them... but they are great (quality) and cheap (pricewise). Perfect for sampling...DO NOT TRY TO SCRATCH on them... they are worthless for that. -
