Keys necessary with MPC?
I Use keys all day everyday. I compose more than sample. But i have made beats on jus the mpc alone. Get you some melodic programs(bass, guitar,ect..) and you could do some work with that. But if you are a sampler do u think u need keys? Cause u usally have a melody come from the sample itself. -

Naw sweetie they are like expansion cards so u can add more sounds. But the 2080 will get the job done for you or even the 1080. -

Yeah i hear they have some great sounds. My boy(bhunt) told me to check out the 1080 when i was first lookin for a module. Not only him but a bunch of other people told me its worth every cent you pay. -

Why not use your Yamaha AW16 as your mixer? You can connect everything to it. Thats what i do with my Roland VS-2000. -
