mastering: vintage warmer vs. waves masters software
Man i been spending forever tryin to compare the sounds of these two... and in my opionon i get a much fuller and richer sound from the warmer than i do from the expensive ass waves joints... but the waves shit is cleaan and precise which is good for certain types of tracks but for giving... -

i aquired this song ...its in wav format...when i try to use peak ..it says ..."peak does not support compressed wav files".... what does that mean? is their a way i can convert this file into a usuable form or uncompress it or whatever? im confused..please holla back if you have... -

compression question
my question is... if i am using a limiter such as the likes of the L1 maximizer by waves in my master mix chanel... do i need to use an addtional compressor for a mixdown? i like the way it sounds without a compressor but from what i read it is good to use compression in a final mix... or is... -
