i usually dont reply to these topics but....

First off clam down, lets try to make some substance out of this topic,

check it , I totally agree with what 50 is saying. I think he saying it for the wrong reasons but he has a point,

For those who really grew up in the "hood"(and not fronting) u know that once your succefull in anyway u cannont go back

I moved out the "hood" when i was 15 years old. When i go back i am a stranger on my own block. ALl the people i came up with are locked up or dead. So now there is a new generation of young wippersnappers itchin to get their juice. To them i am a stranger, an outsider, a "college boy". Little do they know i was in there shoes 10 years ago. I cant be around that enviroment to long casue who knows if one of these lil cats will wanna test me. And if that happens who knows how i will react. Why would i put all ive worked for at risk just to try and "keep it real". I know were im from, i dont need to prove shit.

I think 50 is sayin the same thing. Most of these rapper cats feel they have to prove they are hard and shit, why??. Ive u had a rep in ur hood it dosent matter, u know what you have done. there NO need to prove anything.

LOL Im an edcuated cat, but i would make most of these rappers my bitch if it came down to it. lil punks

Anyway
The point is this, if your really from there you dont wanna go back(unless its for communitity service)

IT kills me when u see these multi platium rappers still sayin they live in the PJ's, thats bullshit, dont belive it at all. As soon as u get some cheese you turn into the target. Thats the "crabs in a barral" mentalitity american ghettos.

Dont belive that MTV bullshit......

EXACTLY, discussion closed

And by the way Cash Pacasso, I know 50 and Bangin Smurf story, me too I read magasines and internet sites like you. If 50 wasn't "loyal" to bangin smurf there must be a personal reason, cuz the way 50 acted with Yayo when he was in prison really showed that he was loyal. When yayo was in, he was collecting money from the shows they did and put it in a bank for yayo, he also did that on the sales of Beg For Mercy and Lloyd Banks album. So the bangin smurf thing must be bigger than what's written in magasine.

I say let the dude do what he's gonna do, say what he's gonna say. If he get's it, It's like that for him and if he does what he claims he'll do then O fukkin Kay! 50 is just another dude like everybody here. Though he said some dumb shit, we all do and have. He's still a clown in my opinon because of the quantity of dumb shit he reproduces on a regular basis. So to quote 50, he is "the George Bush of New York." <--says dumb shit and gets away with it. We will all sit back and watch to see if 50 hurts the hood or vice versa.

Thank You

i just moved out of my hood, and the only thing i'm going back for is my family and real freinds. Why should i go back and possibly put myself in a postion where i get in hurt or locked up. that's fuckin stupid!

Aight I see this one is just a matter of opinion and the person. Me personally the projects i grew up in is big as hell and i live there for 22 years and move out about 3yrs. now. But I dont see how people think that once they make it they not supposed to visit their hood anymore. Its not about being hard or nothing like that but you cant move everybody out the hood and you cant satisfy everyone either but to get big and never go back to the city or town where you came from is totally not what hell hip hop is about or life for that matter. I think people nowadays are too wrapped up on the whole "im famous" bullshit. So what if you make it big and are around all these buji ass people and famous face the whole point of revisiting your hood could be to visit old freinds or fuck it go to a homecoming or something. And yes the whole plan is to get out of the hood but not to never look back. I pray that this hip hop community today realizes that being famous is not the ultimate goal for this music and was never intended to be. Wake up and be free not lock up in the mentality of being famous. Because if you know anything then of course you know that moving away from the ghetto and money doesnt totally remove you from the hood. And im done.

Dog if you cant go back to ya old hood its a reason why and not because you famous. If you feel like theres a chance of getting robbed leave ya chains home. Then whats your excuse. Trust me dog there another reason hes not going back. That reason is Bang Em Smurf. Bang Em was one of 50's closest freinds bottom line he was 50's muscle. Hes the dude you hear on the 50 Is The Future Mixtape the one that got 50 signed. And hes was the main one riding for him not Banks or none of them niggas on G-Unit and he even invested 20,000 of his street money to the mixtapes and shit. Then he got arrest on a charge while 50 and him were on tour(after 50 got on). 50 wouldnt even bail the nigga out and told him he needed to learn a lesson like what type of fag shit is that. Nigga you not his dad or nothing get ya nigga out of jail then talk about all that. But 50 straight up abandoned him and when he did that you might as well say he abandoned his hood because now they dont like him anymore he turned him back on his main soldiers. All them little young dudes 50 used to have has security from his hood was because of Bang Em now they have been replaced wit cops and shit pay attention to whats really going on in rap and the streets. And also the biggest reason he cant go back without the cops is Supreme and The Inc. them niggaz is real connected on some extra ish you smell me they be trying to touch this nigga every chance they get. Bottom line is Fame doesnt restrict you from your hood(home) its your foul actions and the negative energy you dish out that does it.
true... true...

You have some good points but there is a differnce between supporting your communitity and tryin to act like you are still down in your "hood". I do all types of things to support my communitity and im 1000 miles away. But that dosent mean im gonna go back and hang on the block, shoot craps, and run packages like i was 15

Im past that , im a grown ass man...
I dont need to move back to jordan park(my area) to rep it.

I will rep jordan park 1000 times more when i walk across that gradution stage in 2 weeks and get my masters degree in Information systems. You know why, casue i made it out.

Im the only one of my friends who isent locked up, shot up, or doped out. It would be disrespectful to their stuggle and sarafice for me to come this far and try to go back to my hood and keep it "real" by doing dumb shit. I rather keep it real by setting a good example for other cats behind me.

My 2 cents

absolutely... i have one year left for my undergrad degree and then it's off to law school. i'm glad i'm headed in the right direction, because i know a lot of the people i grew up with that stayed to rep the hood didn't.

Oh thats what im talking about another dude that made it and im proud of you brother. Your point is well understood and your right going back doesnt mean shooting craps are hustling on the block or nothing you used to do. I just means letting people who had love for you and that are still there know you still love em. Once again congrats on your accoplishments.
