All I'm dreaming of

I think the mix needs some work here, the drums are very low, the drums are very important to hip hop so should be up front too much reverb on them too, the sax and guitar is far too loud. The part that comes in at 1:21 is far too loud, and too broad across the frequency spectrum, filter off some top and bottom frequencies to help it sit into the mix better.
Sounds like your workflow is very convoluted, this can be harmful to creativity, is there any way you can simplify it? A smooth workflow is more helpful to creativity. By bounce to Ableton for mastering, do you mean mixing?

Thanks for the feedback!

When I bounce out to Ableton it's flattened, so I think I mean mastering. It's not multitrack. Ableton is where I EQ, or at least try to. If I can figure out a way to get a better final mix out of the SP that would be my preference. Will play with the levels there and see if I can clean it up.

Okay, what are you using as monitors? Practice the mixing side with the SP, keep in mind, if you want something louder, its often better to turn everything else down. When you keep trying to turn everything up you quickly run out of headroom. There are ways of making things sound louder without making them louder, but I wouldnt worry about that for now, just think about the overall balance between low, mid and high frequencies for now. And the balance between the instruments or tracks that fulfil those roles. Eq your sounds to take away unwanted frequency ranges so they dont clash with other sounds that share the same frequency range.
