Hey I wanna know on a turntable like real dj turntables such as Technics or numarks or stantons, If u use the pitch slider will it mess with the tempo too? because If I get a 606 it dosent have the feature like the mpc of pitching a sample without messing with the tempo...

Soo i was asking because if I sample sumthing then put it in2 the sp I was wondering would the turntable pitch the sample without messing with the tempo? Let me tell u thoe the sp does have the feature of changing the tempo without changing the pitch....

ANYONE!?

on turntables, for the most part it's analog. that means if you bring down the tempo slider, the pitch will lower as well. now they have tables like the ttx by numark where it keeps the pitch and changes the tempo or vice verse, but thats all digital. as far as oldschool tables like technics go, it's both or nothing.
