ok, i realize this is a hiphop site and a hiphop forum

BUT

is anyone in here into techno? cuz i know i am. or is everyone here strictly hip hop?

well, one reason i ask is because i'm just curious, but a second is because recently i've just had a lot of techno inspiration rather than hiphop, so i made a few beats. i have 2 new techno beats on my site and if your into techno i could really use some feedback.

im not feeling the repetativness of the techno.

drum n bass is phat though. its still fast which is good for the people who like to dance and its better in every other aspect compared to techno in my opinion.

Can't really compare I think since scenes are way different but I'm diggin' the techno here, stuff like kanzlerambt and underground consorts. No candyravin' glowstick wavin' midgets here and it aint mellow for it to be gay. Actualy, it's pretty sick and you can consider it in europe to be the urban outskirts for better and worse. As I experience it, the scene here collide at various venue's ( illegal raves included ) so it's not strange to see either Hiphop, Electro, Nu-skool breaks, breaks in particulair, D&B, breakcore, techno, tekno, industrial, hardcore, industrial hardcore, Soundsystems ( and or = dub )House, Easy listening, Album covers exhibitions, ehr...none commercial music in particulair. These genres mixed/combined @ one venue isn't odd here, it's dope too.

My personal point of view is this condition I'm in, if anyone noticed my gearlist you would've concluded that this is the setup of a live techno set, and synths, drums, samplers are basicly ready for techno, all real or virtual analogue, fm synthesis.... You name it all techno... But it's the same gear you use for D&B, at least, these are originals and not emulated. Their the source for the sound, noise and music, for all the genre's including hiphop. Now if you're into producing and into learning then you produce and listen to a lot in order to appreciate other music, as much as possible, because if you can appreciate, you gain perspective*.

( and if you dont understand a damn what Im saying than swap perspective with money ).
