Anyone Slackn on Taxes?

Just a question to see if I am the only slacker on filing for taxes?


I am filing this year and apparently since I never filed before EVER! I owe over 2k to the government.... weakness.


I feel pain... in my wallet.

I usually get a refund but I don't know about this year. I have a feeling I am going to owe big time this year. I worked two full time jobs one year and I ended up owing 3K. Needless to say, I stopped working two jobs immediately.

I ended up setting myself up to pay in installments. They let me pick how long I wanted to take to pay it off and I picked a year. Wasn't too bad.

well, if u dont know this... if u claim zero (0) dependents on ur job application, the Gov. will take the maximum taxes out of ur check... doin this will most likely ASSURE urself gettin a healthy tax return... claimin 1 or more means they take out less durin the year... u'll have more money to play with durin the year, but u'll get less, and u might even OWE come tax time... the ONE time i owed was when i claimed "1"... i never did that shit again... also, if u dont owe u dont hafta beat the April 15th deadline... ive filed as late as August one year... got a nice chunk in november... lovely.

I always get a refund, I also dont do 2 jobs because they always kill you when you do that..Doesnt seem fair actually.

it all depends on your accountant. I highly recommend gettin a personal accountant. Just DO NOT go to H&R Block. They will not get you the full amount owed. Actually, they can get you more, and do, but when they give you the check before the fact, you get assed out. A friend of mine works there.

I just got rid of my accountant..They cost an assload if your business turns no profit yo..(embarassed)

I been filing for taxes since I was 16 this year i probley won't get but like 50 dollars back lol but hey something I got to do.
