i been havin so much trouble loading wavs into the nn19 sampler . i actually know how to load them i just cant figure out how to trigger them,i ll load the sample but when i hit a key on my keyboard itll still play the patch . i know i asked this be4 a while ago and sum1 refered me to the manual and i read it and i still couldnt figure it out ,if sum1 could tell me exactly what i have to do to be able to trigger my own wav samples from the nn19 sampler and not the patches id be real greatful i been usin fl studio 4 lately jus cuz i use both anyway but i know id be using reason a lot more if i knew how to do that

Yo,

1. create a new mixer and then a nn19 sampler device.

2. load a .wav (not a patch!).

3. "There is a MIDI icon on the left side of one of the sequencer tracks. If you have the default song open, it will be on the ReDrum track. This means that MIDI is being routed from your controller to the ReDrum machine. To route it to another device, click on the blank space just left of the sequencer track name. The MIDI icon should appear there and give you control of the device via your MIDI controller which we just set up. "
follow the instructions, and move the midi icon to the sampler.

4. try it out, should work...

5. if it ain't workin', check your midi settings!

its workin but u can still hear the patch playing in the background i even hit the solo sample button

Right click on the nn19 and selct "initialize patcg" dats gon take the patch and wav away. Reload just the wave. DON'T LOAD A PATCH. If you have patch and wav loaded @ the same time the patch sound overides the wav no matter which order you loaded em.

NICE THANKS A LOT , A LITTLE OFF TOPIC BUT I JUST GOT MY NEW 2.5 IN AND WHEN I TRY TO COPY MY ORKESTER BANK INTO THE REASON PROGRAM FILE IT SAYS ''CANNOT COPY ORKESTER DATA ERROR ''CYLIC REDUNDANCY CHECK''

cyclic redundancy check=CRC
the problem can be caused by scratched\broken\fractured CDs.
another reason might be a corrupt file.

im a little confused cuz the cd is brand new out of the box wit not even the slightest scratch on it and i dunno how to tell if its corupted but its the actual cd its not burned or anything ,brand new

Cyclic Redundancy Check or CRC error.

Additional Information:

Computer Hope Dictionary: Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC) is a method of detecting errors in data transmission. A CRC is data that is sent with a block of data, when received by where the information is being sent to the CRC can be checked to verify if data was all received.

Cause:

This error message could be generated by any of the following reasons:

1. During the transmission of the file it became corrupt or bad
2. The file was sent inappropriately
3. The device being opened from is bad or contains errors
4. The file itself is bad or the program attempting to open the file is bad.

Solution:

Network / Modem transmission issues

If you are attempting to open the file from a network / modem it is likely the network either is encountering collisions or other errors during the data transmission. Note: if the file is being sent through a session such as FTP or Telnet it is possible that it may not be sent properly. If the file is a text file the file must be sent in a ASCII or TEXT mode. If however the file is a program or non-text file it must be sent as a Binary file.

* Attempt to re-send the file.
* Try Alternate method of sending the file.
* Verify the file was sent properly (ASCII / TEXT / Binary)
* Verify with Network Administrator that the network is not experiencing issues.

Removable media issues

If the file is attempting to be opened from a removable media such as a Zip disk / Floppy diskette it is possible data corruption is being encountered on the diskette itself or when coming from the removable media.

* Try an alternate diskette or media

CD issues

If the file is being opened from a CD-ROM it is possible the CD is dirty or scratched causing read errors. If the CD was burned it is possible that it was burned improperly.

* Clean the CD-ROM
* Re-burn the software

File is bad or program attempting to open the file is bad

Finally, if the file is being opened from the hard disk drive or other media it is likely that the file is corrupted or the program opening the file is corrupted.

* Download the file again.
* Reinstall the program being used to open the file
* Attempt to open with a different program
* If the file is on the hard disk drive run scandisk / defrag
* Assume the file is bad and cannot be recovered

thanks for the 411 wings,computers piss me off, i dunno i think ill call propellerhead and tell them i have a faulty cd i hope theyll help me out even tho i bought the product second hand from ebay,i have the original cds and original license and all that jazz so i think im straight

[yo . Don't Even Fock With The Nn-19 If You Want To Use Your Own Wav Files .. Son Use The Nn-xt. You Have A Lot More Flexibility With That. Now Go Get Busy Dog!
