But similarly there are at least 2 who said they were torn between voting for me or someone else and didnt.

Also, as one of my points in the thread... my vote came down to Primz or one of the Guitar tracks... part of my reasoning for voting Primz beat was because i didn't think it'd get the recognition it deserved, turns out he placed and the guitar track didnt. So i potentially screwed several people over. And Primz may not have needed my vote. So that's my dilemma with it.

It's never been about me, more about wanting people who deserve votes to get em.

Same for placing or whatever, nothingto do with faith inself, just to do with what i want to be doing or not. And i don't really wanna be making the stuff i have that's placed.

Don't get me wrong I'm glad to have picked you and pleased to see as a result you placed! As that's what i want when i vote someone. To see them do well.

no worries man lol i didnt take any offense at all. I love the critical nature of the forum. The synth did feel like it fit, i should have maybe put as a background sound. Like a pad or something. Got a new track im cooking right now called ; Bitches gonna call me god.

@Vossi Beats Very good mix. I'm not a fan of the middle eastern vibe but it has a solid sound. I just wish it was more of a Hip Hop vibe.

Thx for the feedback bro. I personally love that middle eastern vibe, but that's just a matter of personal taste i guess, and I just wanted to make something that would stand out from the crowd.

Thank yue! It was fun, but also challenging as I'm in no way experienced with that whole middle eastern kinda vibe. Definitely not the last time I'm gonna mess with that vibe.

By The way @Iron Keys , I started to vote for you but between you and @Vossi Beats , I changed it last minute and went with Voss. Was a tough choice but loved them both. Nice job bro. I felt both deserved a top spot.

not everybody wins, giving out participation prizes is what has led to a generation of entitled snowflakes who cant handle life in the real world.
There is only one winner, a few runners up and the rest. Thats life. Better people get used to it, or just sit in the corner and cry about how hard life is and never accomplish anything.

@Fade My idea for another theme is to pick a movie and flip one of the songs from its soundtrack and then the name of your track would have to be the name of the movie so we'd know how to link the two at the end.

I do like that but it could be a bit complicated since everyone is flipping a different movie and some might just submit any beat. It would be hard to tell what beat is a movie flip and what's not.

Next theme: Scratching??

Scratching would be great but not everyone can scratch or has that sort of setup, even with plugins.

Oh I'm really not that familiar with other DAWs than FL Studio, but I actually thought plugins like gross beat etc. was standard. So yeah it won't work if not everyone will be able to do it

Doesn't have to be 20 but I would say at least 10 is good. Yeah who can do it, we need to find that out.

It's not giving out prizes for participation. That analogy doesn't bear any relevance.

No ones saying give prizes to everyone or bottom placed. They're saying give credit to the top beats.

It's more accurate votes. I can imagine there being less votes than entries.
Beat this has a massive number of voting options but probably has the lowest ratio of votes.

Imagine there's 29 beats only 10 people vote. Hows that reflective?

Still ONLY 5 PEOPLE WOULD PLACE. and they would be THE MOST VOTED FOR BEATS. Hows that anything to do with "participation prizes" ?????? It's literally the same thing just more accurate.
