Beefing up with Preamp

Asked this in the digidesign forum but no dice.

I have an mbox mini, pro tools 7, and a nice tube preamp. I want to track out of the mbox through the preamp and back into pro tools. How would I pull this off with the mbox mini? If its possible...

If its not, I can always cop another interface. Would the 002 rack be a better option to do this?

dont kno much bout the mini... but it seems u'd take ur finished track and route ur mini output to ur preamp's input, and ur preamps output into your mini's input... just like u do normally when recording. By doing that it should record what is coming out of the mini originally, after running thru the preamp.
