Lists, of course, are always subjective. It's cool to see Illmatic #1 but like you said, Cardi B ahead of Reasonable Doubt makes no sense, but mainly because it's not the same. It's hard to pick the best ones over many years but I think we can all agree that the music has changed a lot, so how can you compare Cardi B to Jay Z? Or Megan Thee Stallion vs Rakim? It's nowhere near the same sound/style.

Maybe there should be multiple lists going by decade since there's so much music out there now.
