OK Im with you now, I may be mistakened but I'm 99% sure that this is what happens...if you browse for friends, the bot will automatically hook you up with friends according to your search criteria. I've noticed this by changing mine and browsing. If you don't use the browse, it won't send you friends.

In the future when you ask them if they are a member and they aren't send them to ILL2, it's mainly for the newbies anyway. Thats actually a good idea to keep the ILL page exclusive to ILLMEMBERS if you want.

use ill2 for member profiles in the blog section, just template a layout for a brief tech profile, i know everybody has a profilepage but its really friendly in reards to quick browsing . I second the idea of having only ill members added to the friendslist, it does not defeat the purpose, it actualy supports any request for a producer if a theres a demand for a producer because each one in there is actualy a producer which is critized by the community (boards), this way anyone needing a good producer can take a second opinion on skilllevel, attitude by reading the beat reviews etc. The approach towards any visitor is way more friendly opposed to browsing through thousands of non relevant characters and bitches, yeah distraction, you wanna give a visitor the fastest acces to the stuff he likes, this implies that to actualy support this extension of illmuzik you must catagorize members to their fields of interest. Try structuring from this perspective and you have a proper display of illmuzik's intellectual property, ready for the paypal button lol.

Illmuzik2...use the blog section for all members like mentioned before, same layout as illmuzik myspace but nothing on the mainpage except a list with member names hyperlinked to his blogpage with info and links to his/her webistes. No music, no pics, no comments on the mainpage

you can animate with photoshop +imageready. . . i do it all the time lol.

and it will make a GiF file, much more desireable than the not always supported flv.
