was wonderin if anyone does any tuning or any type of modding to their whips. i just bought my first car thats not a shitbox a few weeks ago. its a 03 civic lx. my first whip was a 93 cavalier and and then a 95 ford taurus. glad to get away from american cars for a while i cant count how many times those cars have screwed me over and left me stranded places. but anyway. im gunna start pimpin my car out i started by gettin sum rims they are black i dont think the brand is too popuar cuz i got em off ebay but the seller had like thousands of good feedbacks so ithink they are straight . but after that im gunna tint the glass, maybe get a carbon fiber hood,get an ill system , new muffler .then after that maybe start tuning for performance . this shit aint gunna be all at once but im gunna slowly but surely hook my car up.

I had a 92 accord with 17" momo's, a body kit, big fart muffler, cold air intake, blah blah blah. i sold that thing a week later. i couldn't hear my self think or the radio. it was like BWRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRR!

yeah im only 17 but my first car is the new vw golf (not sold in us), metallic black with a full body kit, 17" audi rs4 alloys and a nakamichi head unit and mtx 12" sub and two mtx 6x9s and mtx components! yay not bad for my first whip!

I've done alot to this car since I got it. First of all it's a 12 cylinder beast called the "Tha' Great Black Shark". LOL!
Here are some of the things that I have done to it:
Black Mica paint job
carbon fiber hood
lowered suspension
racing exhaust
racing cam
kompressor (supercharger)
custom hand made interior
larger brakes
chip tuning
sound system
the engine has been tweaked to produce 500bhp
full CSi body kit
There are alot of other things that have been done; but those are the major things so far. I'm not going to do much more to it except change the rims, give it lambo-doors and have a special ground effects kit built for it. I also want to put an air bag suspension on it. There will be no more engine tweaking because the Shark is fast enough for me. I've had it up to 315kmh with still room to go while I was racing a Diablo from Mannheim to Frankfurt. Now that I think about it; I must have been out of my mind that day. LOL!

Are the German authorities tolerant towards tuners and tuning in general?
Cuz here, you can't really do much when it comes to customizing cars (so many specific laws against it).

Yeah you are right about that. The german laws are strict when it comes to "pimpin'" your ride. I know alot of german cats who can't even get the permission to put there cars on the street. Fortunately for me I don't fall under german jurisdiction because I have american plates on my car. (I'm not german) Basically, we can do pretty much whatever we want with our cars as long as it is safe.

8 series are dope ! and pretty rare too what engine is in that one ? 850 ?
