clarity on vocals?

you know how on the professionaly recorded songs the vocals are just clear as hell.

well is this because of the equipment they are using or the equalizin/engineerin?

basicly the this is my question...which would come in better a rookie with a $1000000000000 microphone or a professional engineer with a 100 mic?

im askin this question because i want to kno if its possible for my vocals to come in as clear as they do on professional tracks (with my mic), because if it is possible then im gonna do it one way or another.

Definately a professional engineer with a $100 mic... It's all about how you set your shit up... I have a £15 mic which is about $20... And my vocals are normally sounding crisp... It's about alining the capture part of the mic correctly with your mouth and simple editing techniques with cool edit... There's a lot of tutorials online... Wings posted one on here...

u might want to test out other mics in ur price range too. different mics sound better on different voices. i have a B-2 that only sounds good on raspy voices. any other voice sounds muffled.
