classic Music Business books?

whattup family,

I really need to get and read some classic Music Business books for an interview I have next week for a music business course I want to get into in. I've heard there are a couple of classic books that I should get but I'm unsure of the authors or titles. I'm sure some of the good people here should be able to help me so if you can... HOLLA!!!

hey mate. this is my personal recommendation:
Donald S. Passman - All You Need to Know About the Music Business : Revised and Updated for the 21st Century (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0684870649/103-3715114-1000626?v=glance). this one is the best i know.

I personally recommend "Confessions of a Record Producer" by Moses Avalon. Get the updated version if you decide to cop. Man I swear I didn't put that book down until I was finished. I don't know if it falls under the "classic" category but I found it pretty interesting.
