cubase live record

ok im trying to record myself live when i sing to the mic i wanna here myself with effect added like echo, reverb, autotune. before i push the recorded button. here da video im talkin about

im have cubase sx3

What audio card? Make sure you are using ASIO drivers. And enable live input in cubase.

How well do you know cubase?

how you enable live input in cubase?? my sound card is tascam us-428 i have direct monitior turn on. next to the the record button. do i need to install ASIO driver software??

So wait, the problem is you cant hear yourself back yet when you test the mic?

i can hear myself but there is no FX, REVERB, ECHO, AND SO ON WHEN I PUT DA PLUGINS

Direct monitoring is routing in the tascam and back out only, no software processing. Load those asio drivers and setup cubase with them.
