I kno software really good so i wanna add some sound modules just to spice up my plain pc setup

Im buying a turntable
i have a mic
i have a good comp
evolution keyboard

so i was thinking maybe about a JV1010 or a XV5050

or even a Triton or Motif..considering i already have a comp to sequence..would it be better to get the rack mounts of these?

whats something i should add to this setup you think will make it a bit better...as far as sound.

I kno its the artist..but i cant help it..these sound fonts suck.

thanks alot..

i was thinking about a MPC..but wouldnt it be best just to sample and do drums in reason and save the 2000 dollars?

Also i have sp303 sampler and not good at knowing how to use it any ideas? I wanna see if a friend who is not using his much anymore will let me exxhange mine for his sp808 which looks like a mpc..and maybe i can get some mpc users to give me suggestions on how they integrate it with their PC setup

thanks alot.

it can be a tough choice choosing the right gear. I personally have many pieces of hardware and software on my wishlist and I often change my mind about which ones I really need.

I can't give you any specific advice (cause I'm not an expert on a lot of the things you mentioned) but I've always wanted an MPC and a triton to add to my collection.

I would say decide ehat you need most and then get that. You can always get more stuff later.

Also it's a good idea to try to master whatever it is you have currently to really improve your musical expertise and creativity.

Best of luck with it.

if you're looking into racks -- the best thing to do is go check them out at the store -- hands on is the best experience and opinion you'll be able to gather for yourself
