I like this. He mentions how it all started with Snoop and the Chronic album. Snoop was in jail and recorded his verse over the phone when they were preparing the demo! LOL.
I didn't know that originally it was some Boz Scaggs record that he was going to build G Thang off of, but instead went with Leon Hayward. Boz would have had the cash instead for that sample use. I'd like to know what record that was though. I guess we'll never know.
But - the questions asked were kind of weak and played out. From a technical standpoint, I'd like to see Dre tell us about his recording process and what kind of stuff he has in the studio. That knowledge would be GOLD.
