Dubbed Samples...help

ok im pretty good at makin beats now even sampled shit, but when it comes to makin sum kanye west type shit i fuck up...

ive tried sampling some vocals to do a kanye west type beat but i always end up with the same problems...the main 1 is

1ce i dubb the sample the tempo increases...way too fast for a hiphop beat..i usually work between 85 and 100

if someone can walk me thru sampling an old song and speeding it up to sound kanye style that would help or send me an old zipped prject u did on fruity like it so i can learn from that

Firt Of All Those Old Samples Are With A Live Bad Most Of The Time So Yo Will Have To Chop Up A Long Sample To Put It On Beat. Second My Advice Is To Find Some Old Slow Jams Ie.(oj's, Isley Brothers, Earth Wind And Fire).

i never tried it on fruity loops. I would imagin that it would be hard to control in FL programs.
I use acid for sampling and making those kayne type beats.

Acid and Fruity Loops are very compactiable by the way.

take it slowly

Choose downtempo beats. Old r'n'b, old blues, somethin around 60 bpm. It will be perfect when you'll speed it up you will land about 80-100. Try acid to control your loops then export it in your favorite software in the tempo desired.
