this is a huge missunderstanding.when i say electro i mean groups that are heavy synth based NO SAMPLES no classical shit.just ELECTRO SOUNDING SYNTHS AND THAT IS 3 SIX MAFIA.for example.and some of the above mentioned.

and i think i def. will find those sounds u know.

if u dont like that style its not my problem.

Man you are way off three 6 is in no way electro music and yes they do use samples, in fact I think samples are used in at least 3/4ths of their songs. Three 6 is best classified as southern gangster rap, there is no such thing as electro rap.


Anyways back on topic for southern beats just look at all the groups that come from ATL and you'll soon be able to tell a southern beat from any other beat pretty easily. I think Ludacris Presents - Disturbing Tha Peace has some of the best southern type production out right now, also Field Mob's newest album, they have some badass crunk type songs that make use of samples in a way I haven't seen very often.
