E-Mu Proteus or Motif Rack -- I must be crazy

What up yall. After purchasing my turntable the next thing on the list for me is a sound module. I anticipated on getting the E-Mu Proteus 2000 and adding the MoPhat and PurePhatt/PlanetPhatt ROMS to it because I saw that many producers really rely on the E-Mu modules.

Lately Ive also seen the original Motif Rack at some pretty good prices. Even though its not the ES, it still could be what i need. What im looking for is bass sounds, horns, and maybe some strings.

Let me add that I have the Roland Fantom X as my workstation so I was wondering what would be the best choice to have along with my Fantom.

id get the motif. if you still want the proteus, you can get the proteus X software and the expansions for that if you have an emu soundcard.
