whats up people? i was wondering if anybody out there uses e-mu proteus x. i'm thinking about adding it to my arsenal and i want to know if it is a good choice.

I have it and I love it. I got it with the Mo' Phatt sound library.

Make sure you computer is up to specs. I know a lot of people that tried to use it on a computer that didn't meet the minimum system requirements and they've had nothing but problems.

im tryin to cop it too but i think my computer is up to specs it has 512 of ram my computer has 120GB hard drive runs on Windows XP but thats all i kno


scratch that my computer is up to specs i think imma cop it i see one on ebay for under 100

i just copped the Emu Proteus X i read the manuel i can listen to the samples n presets on the computer i set the Sync IN to 1 and the Sync Out to A on the MPC 1k i dont kno how to send the the MIDI data the to MPC

I didn't need the PCI card so I got the Emu XBoard 25 and it comes with Proteus X le. I added the Mo Phatt soundset. It is very taxing on your PC though, so beware. I use it as a soft synth in Sonar 5 with my MPC triggering it.
